DSCN5323We have been to more Bucky Covington concerts than we can count, so there really weren’t any surprises for us when Bucky stepped out on stage on Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Northwest Georgia Amphitheater.  Bucky was there to entertain the crowd who came out to support the Wesley and Shirley Smith Endowment.

One thing we have learned over the years is that Bucky never disappoints.  When you go to see a good show, you can be sure that is what you are going to see.  Even without the help of his full band, Bucky doesn’t slow down.  His acoustic performance, with only the help of Andrew King on guitar, was high-energy, fun, and entertaining. Always with a huge smile and a great sense of humor, it’s easy to enjoy a Bucky Covington performance.

DSCN5308We heard all of Bucky’s hits, “Different World,” “I Wanna Be That Feeling”, “Hometown,” “I’ll Walk,” “Drinking Side of Country,” and  “Good To Be Us”.  He gave us a few great covers, including “Suspicious MInds,” form Elvis Presley, and “Another Brick in the Wall,” by Pink Floyd.  We even heard Bucky’s new single, “Probably Won’t”, which has already shipped to radio – so get busy on those phones and request it.

Keep up with all the latest Bucky news and show schedule by visiting his website and Facebook.  You can follow him on Twitter @buckycovington.  He has some other social media links listed on his website as well, so be sure to check those out, too.
