Our long-time readers are sure to rememer the name Isaac Kenneth. Isaac released a self-titled, seven-track EP back in 2017. If you missed our review of that EP, or would like to go back and refresh your memory, you can read it by clicking here.
Isaac is now working on his debut, full-length album. And, he could use a little help. He has launched a Kickstarter campaign, and has already earned more than $6,000 of the $15,000 needed to fund this project. With the support of fans, Facebook friends, and Country’s Chatter readers, we are sure Isaac will reach his goal.
We all need to remember that “this is an all or nothing effort, and if we don’t reach our goal by 5 pm on August 30th then we don’t get any money.” Hopefully, our Country’s Chatter readers will be able to help Isaac reach that goal!
He plans to record this studio album in September. Like most artists, COVID-19 has been devastating … causing canceled shows and reduced income for the artists and their families. Knowing what we know about Isaac, we are happy to help.
The album will feature at least 10 original songs. “The material I’ve written for this album centers on real stories about the most meaningful parts of life,” Isaac said. “Mama’s Boy” is song I wrote as a tribute to my mother and her beautiful imprint on my life. “Every Tuesday” is a collection of memories and lessons I gained from working for an elderly gentleman down the street every week for seven years”, he said, adding, “And that’s just naming a few”.
“From exuberant odes to old fashioned romance, to poignant explorations of loss and healing, this collection of tunes is made for lovers of life and good music, and I can’t wait for the world to hear the inspiration that I’ve been privileged to put into music..” he added/
Isaac told us he believes our world is aching for heartfelt art that feeds the soul, and this whole project is inspired to do just that.
To keep up with the latest news, visit his Facebook page. He has a lot to look at on his Instagram, so follow him there. If you have a few minutes and want to catch some videos, head over to YouTube. I really enjoyed his YouTube page! He has ‘trailers’ leading up to the album release; he has a Christmas greeting; he has a cover of Elvis’ “Blue Christmas” (acoustic). The videos on this page are just downright entertaining. You can follow him on Twitter @isaackenneth19. If you aren’t already following Country’s Chatter on Twitter, we’d love to have you. You will find us @countryschatter. And, please remember this Kickstarter campaign. Have a look at it, and do whatever you feel you can to help with this project.
