This is right where she belongs.  Our modern day cowgirl, Miranda Lambert, has been inducted into the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame. Long before Miranda released her current single, “If I Was a Cowboy”, the title Cowgirl fit her personalities, activities, and her music.
The National Cowgirl Hall of Fame announced her nomination back in April, and she was inducted on Oct. 26, 2021. We’ve been fans of Miranda’s for years, and have appreciated the fundraising and pet adoption she promotes through her non profit organization, MuttNation.  The National Cowgirl Hall of Fame is meant to honor and celebrate women “whose lives exemplify the courage, resilience and independence that helped shape the West, and fosters an appreciation”

With extra points for perfect timing, country superstar Miranda Lambert has been inducted into the — just after releasing her new single, “If I Was a Cowboy.”
