BMG’s Wheelhouse Records’ rowdy outliers LOCASH and The Beach Boys’ Mike Love and Bruce Johnston will make the national television premiere of the summer anthem on August 2. First performing LOCASH’s current single, they’ll bring even more sunshine to the studio with a second performance of The Beach Boys’ iconic “Kokomo” on GMA3: What You Need to Know.

Catching massive media attention with their supergroup surprises, LOCASH and The Beach Boys have made a trifecta of landmark appearances together after headline-making pop-ups at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Stagecoach Festival in Indio, CA – as spotted in Variety, Billboard, PEOPLE, USA TODAY, and more – and most recently Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry. The latter marked The Beach Boys’ long-awaited debut on the legendary stage to a SOLD-OUT audience, and can be viewed on Opry Live, as well as PEOPLE for an exclusive photo gallery.

With American Songwriter calling LOCASH a “need-to-know band in country music” who are “hitting homers and serving up first-class songs,” “Beach Boys” was named a Best Country Song of Summer 2022 by Country Now, as E! News hails that it’s “making waves.” PEOPLE further applauds “country music’s iconic feel-good duo” and deems “the good times are finally around the corner” thanks to the “sunny-side-up song.” Likewise, MusicRow praises that they’ve “tapped into a good vibration.” “Beach Boys” currently sails at Country radio while tallying 4.56 MILLION global streams to date.

Riding high through the fall on their WOODS & WATER TOUR 2022, LOCASH has headliner stops stacked with major music festival appearances all over the world, including Watershed Festival (George, WA), The Long Road Festival (Lutterworth, UK), and CountryFest Cancun (Riviera Maya, Mexico), among others. Also returning to the Grand Ole Opry on Sunday (7/24), find a full list of show stops here.

Good Morning America airs live Monday – Friday (7:00-9:00 a.m. EDT) and GMA3: What You Need to Know airs Monday – Friday (1:00-2:00 p.m. EDT).

ABOUT LOCASH:
BBR Music Group/BMG’s Wheelhouse Records’ rowdy outliers LOCASH – comprised of Preston Brust and Chris Lucas – are escaping to the Woods & Water. Inspired by the wild-and-free EP out now, the Woods & Water Tour 2022 launched this spring. Creating a signature sound that fuses modern Country and classic Heartland Rock with an edgy vocal blend, the Country music duo of singer-songwriters is widely known for mixing backwoods pride with big-picture positivity. Now rising up the Country ranks with a streak of hits and critical acclaim, LOCASH has two successful albums, eight charting singles, and 815 MILLION global on-demand streams to their credit, plus a brand-new single “Beach Boys” – a collaboration with Mike Love and Bruce Johnston of the iconic group. Their latest album, Brothers (2019), featured GOLD No. 1 “One Big Country Song,” as the follow-up to the pair’s Top 15 The Fighters (2016), which boasted GOLD breakout “I Love This Life” and their first No. 1 with flirtatious GOLD smash “I Know Somebody.” Respected performers with high-profile recognition, they have a history of nods from the genre’s biggest awards shows.
