Black Sheep recording artist Janelle Arthur has released the new video for her current single “What Would Dolly Do” and she has all of us smiling at some “bigger than life” moments as she takes us on a journey that only the global icon herself could top. Watch the video HERE.

From the stage of The Grand Ole Opry to seeing her name on a theater marquee, Janelle finds herself following in the footsteps of her idol and enlists the help of a couple of friends who happen to be social media content creators and influencers, Cassidy Michelle (@justclassicallycassidy)  and Leah Ryder (@leah_geee).

“When you think about Dolly Parton, you not only think about her big hair and high heels, but you also think about her love for people and simply “doing good” in the world. Although it’s fun and clever, this song and video give a deeper meaning to the phrase “What Would Dolly Do”. I was so excited for social media influencers Cassidy Michelle and Leah Ryder to be a part of this music video and tribute. Much like the Country Queen, they are known for the beauty, realness and positivity they bring to the world,” says Arthur.

The clip was directed by Natalie Simmons for Scrutny Productions and features scenes from The Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, TN and various landmarks in Lebanon, TN including the historic Capitol Theater, where Janelle’s close friend,  Natasha Neely, a Dolly Parton impersonator was filming with Janelle.  The area was “all a buzz” about Dolly sightings and social media was surging with photos and comments, which begs the question – “What WOULD Dolly Do?”
