Singer/songwriter Bobby Marquez is proud to return to his home state to perform during the most prestigious event of the year for Texas’ finest in entertainment, the 25th Annual Texas Country Music Hall of Fame Ceremony and Classic Country Music Festival. The 3-day event runs Friday August 12th through Sunday August 14th in Carthage, Texas at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and Tex Ritter Museum.

“It is such an honor to be included in the lineup. My wife is the first and only woman DJ to be inducted and her beautiful plaque hangs in that museum. So I am filled with pride and very humbled. This museum is top notch,” states Marquez.

Bobby Marquez will help judge their annual talent competition, the John Ritter Showcase, as well as performing during the show emceed by Grammy Award winner Linda Davis. He will also appear at the annual induction ceremony. And Bobby Marquez will showcase some of his original inspirational music as he joins in prayer and worship with fellow artists Dallas Wayne and Leona Williams for Sunday morning’s Gospel At The Hall.

Bobby Marquez shares, “There is just a special brotherhood amongst everyone from Texas. This weekend really brings us all together. The talent is just amazing.”

This year, the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame will induct David Frizzell, Buddy Holly and The Texas Tenors as their newest members. The induction will include surprise guests and special tribute performances at the Civic Center. Tickets and more information are available at www.tcmhof.com.
