Runaway June takes the (sleigh) reins in their own gloves and delivers a “Cowboy For Christmas.” The original track written by the ladies of Runaway June (Jennifer Wayne, Natalie Stovall, and Stevie Woodward) alongside writer and producer Paul Sikes is available across all streaming platforms just in time for the holiday season.

Featuring cozy three-part harmony and a timeless, Western-Pop charm, Runaway June call in a favor to the North Pole this Christmas … asking for the one thing on every Country girl’s list. With classic strings and steel guitar, they dream of Stetsons, spurs, snowflakes and snuggles, hoping not to ride alone after Santa stops by. “I’ve got that wide open range / I’ve got a winter wonderland view / I got some horses in the stable / Twinkling lights on the roof / Dear Santa, bring me a cowboy for Christmas.”

“We are so excited about our new Christmas song,” says band member Jennifer Wayne. “I’ve had this idea stirring around in my head since we released our Christmas album a few years ago and was just waiting for the right time and right people to write it with. There is such a beauty and romance in the American West, and we wanted to capture that imagery combined with Christmas spirit.”

The festive song comes on the heels of the release of the trio’s first new music since Stevie Woodward joined Runaway June. Stacking press love, BROKEN HEARTS (DO BROKEN THINGS)kicks off a bold new era for the band and as Nashville Lifestyles praises, “bridge modern music with the proud tradition of country.” MusicRow calls the single “a boatload of romping fun,” while Billboard applauds, “On their latest, this trio retains their cheery pop-country vibe, but delves deep into the not-so rational decisions one makes when their heart is splintered after a breakup.” Written by Mandi Sagal, Steve Fee, and Sarah Lake with production by Mitch Furr and Justin Weaver, the infectious anthem was also spotlighted by top-tier outlets such as  E! News, Entertainment Tonight, and many more. The adjoining music video premiered across CMTCMT, CMT Music and CMT.com plus the Paramount Times Square Billboard in New York City.
