Polish up your boots and dust off your Stetson, The Swon Brothers release the Urban Cowboy classic, “Lookin’ For Love” today! The single is the first selection from the duo’s new full-length album, COVERS VOL. 1, which was produced by the brothers and releases later this year.
Colton Swon steps out to take the lead vocal on this easy, laid-back version of Johnny Lee’s timeless, traditional classic.
“This is one of our parents’ favorites and one of the most country songs we’ve ever recorded. We wanted to do this one because mom and dad told us this is their song,” says Colton Swon.
“I’m excited to hear my brother singing lead, this song just sits in a great place for his voice. I have to admit though, he is really the master at singing harmony. It’s really difficult and he’s one of the best. I had to brush up a little but it was fun singing backgrounds to his lead in the studio,” says Zach Swon.
“Lookin’ For Love” is streaming on all digital platforms now.
