32 Bridge Entertainment / EMI Records Nashville recording artist Jon Langston is sharing the latest look at his debut full-length album, Heart On Ice, with the new song “Day In the 90’s” out everywhere noq. Evoking the feeling of ‘90s country with the sonic heat of a modern barn burner, Langston offers up his bid for the perfect summer anthem on the track, which he co-wrote with Jody Stevens, Jordan Walker, and Chris Miller. Cranking up the volume on his good-time vocal growl, low-slung guitars and a thumping beat frame double-meaning lyrics as refreshing as an afternoon on the lake.

“Everyone loves a good ‘90s song,” shares Langston. “It feels like you’re out on the boat drinking a beer with your friends, and I love those kinds of songs. That’s the way I am – I can be serious, but I can have a good time, too. It feels just like the title sounds.”

Out September 8, Heart On Ice infuses Langston’s country-radio roots with a fresh electricity, tracking his evolution and adding a bold sense of maturity. The album is available to pre-order now. Ahead of its release, Langston shared the project’s title track, as well as the slow burning “Whiskey Does” and tender ballad, “Ain’t No Cowboy.”

Last night (8/17), Langston hit the stage on Luke Bryan’s Country On Tour in Cincinnati, OH, performing fan-favorite hits and new music. View photos from his high-energy, party-starting set here. About Jon Langston:  The epitome of a grass-roots country star, 32 Bridge Entertainment/EMI Records Nashville talent Jon Langston gives new credence to the 10-year, 10,000-hour rule of mastering one’s craft. Arriving with a Gold-certified splash via the homespun, lost-in-love ballad “Forever Girl” in 2013 – the first song he ever wrote – Langston has spent the ensuing decade on a mission to grow as both an artist and man, working with some of the genre’s modern icons. A Georgia native schooled on ‘90s-country heroes like Alan Jackson, plus classic rock, Southern rap, R&B and more, his efforts have produced three EPs, a No. 1 all-genre iTunes debut (“When It Comes To Loving You”) and more than half a billion global streams – plus a 2022 Grand Ole Opry debut, sold-out headline shows and a spot on mentor Luke Bryan’s annual tour. Wielding a warm vocal buzz drenched in raspy Southern soul, and a modern-country sound blending warmth with in-the-moment muscle, Langston’s long-awaited debut album, Heart On Ice, is set for a September 8th release, marking his next step from open mics to country’s elite. Featuring 14 songs – 11 of which he co-wrote – and produced by Jody Stevens, Jacob Rice and Brad Wagner, the concept album infuses his country-radio roots with a fresh electricity, and adds a bold sense of maturity to the singer-songwriter’s catalog of party anthems and ballads built on a wounded-but-still-beating heart. Early releases like “Whiskey Does” and “Ain’t No Cowboy” proved his knack for a romantic hook has only sharpened since “Forever Girl,” while “Heart On Ice” serves as a showcase of the intention Langston brings to both music and life – and a hint toward deep-feeling hits yet to come. Now savoring life like a glass of top-shelf bourbon – and making country music with the same barrel-aged patience – Langston is currently featured on Luke Bryan’s Country On Tour, and can be found headlining shows across the nation.
