“Tennessee Christmas” is featured on an EP project titled Old Fashioned Christmas, a collection of classic holiday song covers promoted by Duke Spirits. The 6-song EP was executive produced by Chris Radomski, the founder of Duke Spirits, with production led by Austin Moody and co-produced by Mitch Furr and Elisha Hoffman. Duke Spirits, known for crafting award-winning ultra-premium bourbon, rye, and tequila, is an artisan distiller dedicated to preserving the legacy of American icon John Wayne. Their commitment is evident in the meticulous crafting of spirits using decades-old recipes and bottles from John Wayne’s archives, encapsulating the enduring ideals that he stood for.

“My childhood Christmas memories go back to the Appalachian Mountains in East Tennessee. Since moving away, I have traveled to many amazing places, but nothing comes close to spending Christmas in Tennessee,” shared Austin Moody. “This song always takes me home for Christmas and to cherished memories.”
“At a moment when Country music seems to be working through an identity crisis, Austin reminds us that its genesis is simply pure and honest,” stated CMA, ACM, and Grammy Award-winning producer, Keith Stegall.

Acclaimed singer/songwriter and award-winning producer, – Mac McAnally added, “Austin Moody is a rare combination of a bunch of good things. He reveres traditional country music and has a natural connection with classic rock and roll ALA Tom Petty. Put that together with an all-American work ethic and blue-collar spirit and you get somebody you want to know with some music you want to hear.”

“Come on weatherman
Give us a forecast snowy white
Can’t you hear the prayers
Of every childlike heart tonight?
Rockies are calling
Denver snow falling
Somebody said it’s four feet deep
But it doesn’t matter
Give me the laughter
I’m gonna choose to keep
Another tender Tennessee Christmas
The only Christmas for me
Where the love circles around us
Like the gifts around our tree …”

“Tennessee Christmas” was produced by Austin Moody with Chris Radomski as Executive producer.
