Available now across all digital retail and streaming partners, “Kinda Can’t Say No” is a lust song to an irresistible woman a man just can’t walk away from, even if he knows he should.

The mid-tempo track was produced by Neil Thrasher and Patrick Thrasher and written by Neil Thrasher alongside fellow No. 1 country songwriters Lee Thomas Miller (Jamey Johnson’s “In Color”) and Wendell Mobley (Kenny Chesney’s “There Goes My Life”).

Lyrically, “Kinda Can’t Say No” delivers a rapid-fire series of paired lines, each of which wrestles with a pro and con of romantic attachment but ultimately accepts its inevitability:

Kinda thinking it’s a bad idea
Kinda thinking damn you look good
Kinda thinking baby we both know we should leave it alone
Kinda thinking last time was a mess
Kinda thinking I love that dress
Kinda wanna let you go
And I kinda can’t say no

The track is propelled by the trademark commanding presence of Gallaher’s lead guitar, though the riff didn’t come easily to him this time around.

“When I went in the studio to record the song, I had no idea what the intro riff was going to be,” shares Gallaher. “I’d spent a whole day trying to write it and it just wasn’t coming to me, so I had to put the guitar down, just go into the studio, and kind of feel it wherever I was at. My producer said, ‘Man, you’re overthinking it; just put a little John Mayer influence on it,’ so that’s what I did.”

“All the guys out there know you ‘Kinda Can’t Say No’ to a girl and that’s what this song is about,” continues Gallaher.

After going viral with his guitar riff “Stomp,” which has earned Gallaher more than 36 million organic social views to date, his most recent song release was “Still a Few Cowboys Left (Campfire),” a new acoustic version of a fan-favorite track whose original version has surpassed six million streams. Other recent music includes a must-hear cover of the Bryan Adams classic “Cuts Like a Knife,” on which Gallaher plays every guitar part.

About Ben Gallaher
A self-taught musician with a strong reverence for guitar masters, Ben Gallaher’s songs radiate a passion for the lyric-driven country music that influenced him as a young boy listening to his parents’ radio in small-town Pennsylvania. The burgeoning star’s vocals exude a smoky texture reflective of the backwoods bars in which the young artist honed his unbridled stagecraft, driving to the Eastern corridor to perform each weekend while pursuing a degree in Entertainment Industry Studies at Nashville’s Belmont University.

Lauded by American Songwriter magazine as “a promising young songwriter,” Gallaher has also amassed a fast-growing fanbase due to his commanding guitar prowess and energetic live shows while opening for the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., Blake Shelton, 3 Doors Down, Lee Brice, and toured the Pennsylvania State Prisons for over a decade on his annual, headlining “Prison Tour.”

Gallaher’s “Stomp” became a viral sensation, with stars such as Kristin Chenoweth and Peter Frampton lauding his artistry on socials. To date, the “Viral Stomp Riff” has earned Gallaher more than 36 million social views, over 10K fan-created videos and more than 400K social media followers to date, with nearly a quarter of a million followers on Instagram alone. Wide Open Country even lauded Gallaher as one of its “10 TikTok Country Singers That Need to Be on Your Radar.”

Produced by Neil Thrasher and Patrick Thrasher, both the fully plugged and acoustic versions of “Stomp” are out now. Gallaher’s latest music is “Kinda Can’t Say No,” an intoxicating guitar jam about an irresistible woman, and the first song release from his upcoming Bullet EP, scheduled for release on May 9.
