Country-Rock powerhouse Tyler Braden shares the emotionally charged “to tell you the truth (b stage)” out now via Warner Music Nashville. Accompanied by a simple and impactful black-and-white visualizer, the song sets the stage for the arrival of his highly anticipated debut full-length album, devil and a prayer, on May 16 – available for pre-order/pre-save now.
On the track, dusty acoustic guitar underlines a straight-from-the-soul vocal performance by Braden. His voice quakes above softly strummed chords until it reaches a crescendo on the chorus, “God knows I love you, can’t hide it from you, no matter how much it stings, to tell you the truth.” With undeniable grit and unrestrained honesty, his words cut deep, and a bluesy guitar solo only heightens the emotion. The visualizer fixates on Braden as he sings to the camera from a kitchen table. Tugging on heartstrings without apology, “to tell you the truth (b stage)” illuminates the power and passion of his songcraft once again.
Just last month, he teased devil and a prayer with the buzzing anthem “GOD & GUNS N’ ROSES.” The latter has already gathered more than 2.7M global streams to date. Right out of the gate, it also picked up plugs from MusicRow and more.
devil and a prayer, consisting of 19 songs, was conceptualized by Braden to serve as a representation of his own artistic and personal growth, both combined and delivered to the listener in the imaginative form of a live show. In addition to “GOD & GUNS N’ ROSES,” it also includes his previously released fan-favorites “MORE THAN A PRAYER,” “ABOVE THE WATER,” “ME OR THE DAWN,” “CALL ME FIRST,” and the yet to be released, sole featured-duet on the album “MIGHT BE DANGEROUS” (with Kaitlin Butts)

ABOUT TYLER BRADEN:
A rising Country star with a Rock & Roll soul, Tyler Braden makes raw and heartfelt music that’s built for massive stages. With over 630 MILLION global streams to date, the Alabama-bred singer/songwriter is kicking off a bold new era with his forthcoming debut album a devil and a prayer due May 16. The widely anticipated LP is a 19-song tour de force that fully captures the formidable energy of his live show, as shown on the first released track “DEVIL YOU KNOW” (an undeniable hit that amassed over 10 MILLION views across social media in just two weeks). Hailed as a “country powerhouse” by American Songwriter, Braden grew up in the small community of Slapout and started playing four-hour cover sets as a teenager, then continued honing his chops in between shifts as a firefighter in both Montgomery and Nashville. After signing with Warner Music Nashville, he dropped his 2023 debut EP Neon Grave and broke into the scene with lead single “Try Losing One”—an aching piano ballad that hit No. 1 on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown and earned praise from the likes of Billboard, who noted that Braden boasts “[o]ne of the most moving vocal deliveries in country music right now.” With his catalog also including standouts like tender but anthemic “GOD & GUNS N’ ROSES,” he’s shared bills with plenty of Country superstars over the past few years, including Luke Bryan, Brooks & Dunn, Dierks Bentley, and more. On the heels of his recent headline run (2025’s DEVIL YOU KNOW TOUR) and a series of dates supporting Brothers Osborne in the UK and Ireland, Braden is now gearing up to hit the road stateside with Warren Zeiders this spring and will join Darius Rucker this fall in Canada.
