I suppose everyone who has a ‘favorite’ something, needs to have a ‘least favorite’ one, too. And for me .. and my never-ending love of country music, Trace Adkins’s “Hillbilly Bone” is unquestionably one of my ‘’least favorite’ country songs. I love Trace. I love country music, and you all know I love Home Free! So, when I got this press release and saw that Home Free not only released a video for “Hillbilly Bone,” but were including it on their next album, my first thought was ‘oh, no, not that one.’ Now, I have to rethink my short list of ‘least favorite country songs’. Because, with the help of Adam, Austin, Chance, Tim and Rob – “Hillbilly Bone” is no longer on that list. Check out the press release below, and head over to One Country for your first look at this video.
[Press Release] With the release of their hotly anticipated new album TIMELESS just one week away, HOME FREE has revealed one final teaser into the project with their new video for Country anthem “Hillbilly Bone.”
After debuting the booming track during their live shows earlier this year, the all-vocal Country quintet was overwhelmed with fan requests to have the Blake Shelton hit included on TIMELESS. The accompanying video follows Home Free initiating a buttoned-up newcomer with a true Southern throw down, showing off the bass-heavy arrangement the band developed with producer Darren Rust.
Watch “Hillbilly Bone,” which debuted exclusively this morning (9/15) on One Country, here.
“Country music fans’ favorite a cappella group” (Taste of Country) will bring their signature harmonies and inventive vocal stylings to Fox & Friends the morning of September 22 to welcome TIMELESS, their fourth album on Columbia Records.
