It’s almost time for the 33rd Annual Pepsi Independence Day Celebration in Johnson City, Tenn. Every year, folks from Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Western North Carolina, and Kentucky come to the grounds of Johnson City’s Freedom Hall to take part in this event. It’s a full day of fun, food, and entertainment. And, the day ends with one of the best fireworks displays you will see anywhere.
Mo Pitney will be headlining this year. But, he won’t be the only one on the stage. Nashville recording artist Brinley Addington, who recently released a new album called “Songs From A Bar”, and a new single titled, “No Thanks”, will be one of the artist bringing great music to those attending. And, Jimbo Whaley will be back this year, offering up some awesome bluegrass music for the crowd.
One lucky person will win a 2018 chevrolet Sonic LS from Champion Chevrolet of Johnson City. You can register to win tha tcar at area Food City Locations, or by listening to WXBQ, where you might be the lucky caller who gets in the running for your chance to win.
