Multi-platinum, global entertainers Chris Young and Kane Brown, a 5x AMA winner, learned this morning that their multi-week No. 1 smash, “Famous Friends,” is nominated for Favorite Country Song at the “2021 American Music Awards,” the world’s largest fan-voted awards show! Chris shared his excitement on socials, posting “Just woke up to my first AMA nomination!!!!

Voting is now open globally by searching “AMAs” on TikTok. The 2021 AMAs air live, Sunday, November 21 at 8pm EST/PST, on ABC.

“Famous Friends” not only topped the Country Aircheck/Mediabase and Billboard country radio charts earlier this year, it also spent an astounding 15 weeks in the Top 5 on Billboard, marking the 12th career No. 1 for Chris and the 6th for Kane. The pair will perform the song at the CMA Awards where it is nominated for Single of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year.  Watch live Wednesday, November 10 on ABC.
