About Donna Fargo: Donna Fargo established herself as an award-winning singer, songwriter, and performer with the first single release of a song she wrote called “The Happiest Girl in the Whole U.S.A.” This song was also the lead song in her first album by the same name, which achieved platinum album status and earned her 3 Grammy nominations and a Grammy. Her second single release called “Funny Face” won Donna the title of the first woman in country music history to have back-to-back million-selling singles, both of which she wrote. Both songs reached beyond country and became pop hits also, and many hit singles and albums followed. Some of her credits include seven Academy of Country Music awards, five Billboard awards, four ASCAP awards, and two National Association of Recording Merchandisers awards for best-selling artist.
