Award-winning singer/songwriter Bobby Marquez will release a new single from his album, “The Cowboy Way,” this Friday, April 1, 2022. The single titled, “That’s What Loving You Means” is anything but an April Fools prank. All fooling aside, the song is all about pure and unconditional love just in time for the spring wedding season.
“It is a love song, but such an uplifting song of overwhelming joy professed to the love of your life,” states Bobby Marquez.
“That’s What Loving You Means” was penned by Marquez along with Rich Wayland and Brett Beavers who is best known for his string of hit songs with Dierks Bentley as well as the hit songs, “Red Solo Cup” and “She Cranks My Tractor.”
Bobby Marquez shares, “The song, ‘That’s What Loving You Means,’ is special for so many reasons. I originally recorded it for another project years ago with the legendary Jerry Crutchfield producing that version. Later, when I included it on the latest album, I sang the song as my cousin proposed to his now wife live on the stage of The Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree.”
And fans can enjoy the new single live as Bobby Marquez hits the road for his Cowboy Up/Keep Smilin’ Tour.
