Rising Nashville Country Music artist Emily Miller has released an acoustic video for her cover of the Reba McEntire song “Turn On The Radio.” Co-written by Cherie Oakley, J.P. Twang and Mark Oakley the popular tune was released in July 2010 and the song reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for the week of January 1, 2011. Miller’s acoustic cover video was filmed at Stormlight Pictures Studio in Nashville by videographer Logan Christopher. Nick Champeau played guitar in the video. The music video is available to watch on her official YouTube channel.

“Turn On The Radio” was actually the last song Emily Miller chose when looking for songs for her acoustic video project. Having trouble finding just the right one, a friend suggested she cover something from Reba McEntire’s vast catalog. Miller has never kept her love of McEntire’s music a secret, often referring to her as her “queen.” Going through some of her favorite Reba McEntire songs, she finally landed on “Turn On The Radio,” feeling it stood out as something different that no one had really done before. Miller hopes those that watch this video and hear the song feel the sass and the empowerment that a song like this can bring off. Throughout the video Miller noticed she had her signature sassy face, which includes the arch in her eyebrow bone that makes it authentic to her and what her goal was in creating the video. The final product was truly just a fun song and video to put together to go out to fans!

“Creating the video for ‘Turn on the Radio’ was a fun experience just because it allowed me to be sassy. I love how the colors turned out and how it is just simple yet creative,” expressed Emily Miller.

“‘Turn On the Radio’ was such a fun video to film, Emily is always great at bringing personality to simple concepts. This was also part of a long day and she handled it like a boss, delivering the same energy on hour 8 as she did at the beginning of the day!” shared Director/Videographer Logan Christopher.
