California-based singer/songwriter Liddy Clark has released a special Unplugged version of her debut album Made Me, today, Friday, October 20. Going back to the basics, each new unplugged version highlights not only the budding star’s most personal inner musings, but also her impressive songwriting skills. Listen to Made Me (Unplugged) now.

Liddy’s ability to peel back the layers of her artistry with the unplugged album is an impressive feat for the Texas native. The album features unplugged versions of Liddy’s fan-favorites tracks such as “Led Myself On” and “If There Was No Traffic In L.A.,” which was an Honorable Mention Winner at the 2023 Unsigned Only Music Competition.

Liddy shared with Stage Right Secrets that the new song on the album, “september is the worst,” “feels like a part 2 to the final track on the original album — “‘Til The Sun Breaks The Dawn.’ This track is about summer romance and being young and heartbreakingly beautiful moments. Most of all, this track is about letting go and embracing the pain that comes with falling in love quickly.

The original version of the album was featured earlier this year in Billboard’s New In 2023 roundup and has 11 self-written songs, including her viral hit “We Both Know.” The song has racked up over 5 million views on TikTok and Liddy’s personal Spotify playlist, “we’re just friends,” has over 75K followers. The music video for the song premiered exclusively with People Country and shares a glimpse into Liddy’s creative vision for not only the breakout song but the album as a whole. She’ll be expanding upon this creativity once more with a music video for “Do I Miss You?” due in the coming weeks. Liddy recently took her talents to Colorado where she performed at Elevation at Beaver Creek/Live in the Vineyard.
