Country’s Chatter first told you about Moriah Domby way back in January, 2015. We titled that article, “A new face, a great sound!. Meet Moriah Domby”. If you missed that article, or would like another introduction to this artist, you can read that article by clicking here. We were fans then, and we still are. Today, we want to share her new music video with all of you.
Sweet and whimsical, yet honest and vulnerable, Moriah brings a breath of fresh air to the country music scene. She made her way to Nashville from her home state Oregon, to pursue a music business degree from MTSU. After working on the business side of the industry in the music publishing world she eventually began to write and perform her own songs. She has performed at iconic and diverse stages across the country, including the Bluebird Cafe, Eddies Attic, Room 5 LA, and the National Underground in NYC.
Her latest single, “Could’ve Tried” was written by Moriah with Jordan Hobson and proposes a “What if?” sentiment about a relationship that could have come to be if the two people had tried harder at working to make something come from it. The new video debuted earlier this week on Roughstock.
